Musical Theater
Perfect for the theater loving student who strives to be a tripe threat performer. Class consists of a combination of improvisational games, theater exercises, basic blocking, an introduction to singing technique, and learning creative movement/theater jazz choreography to accompany musical numbers. Class culminates in a final showcase live on stage for family and friends.
Musical Theater Minis
Introducing music and creative drama to students Pre-K thru Kindergarten through creative movement, instruments/props, singing and a lot of theatrical play. Class consists of theater games and storytelling activities that build confidence and self awareness, develop speaking skills (vocabulary, projection and diction), enhance focus, and encourage collaboration in a group setting. Class culminates in a final showcase live on stage for family and friends.
Acting
Enrich your skills through improvisation! How improv can make you a better actor? Class consists of improv games and theater exercises that focus on freeing up the imagination, expanding your "character" repertoire, making creative choices, listening, working as a team player, handling nerves ("stage fright"), "giving gifts" to your partners, thinking on your feet and so much more. A fun and educational class designed to build confidence, creativity, focus and problem solving skills. Come join the fun and develop a strong foundation for acting along the way. Class culminates in a student demonstration.
Showstoppers
Learn the art of Musical Theater by doing it! We are MORE than just a show.
Students build their resume in our seasonal mainstage productions. This program culminates in a fully designed junior musical complete with a set and costumes. Students will audition, rehearse, and continue to hone their acting skills all while making friends and further building confidence. Participants MUST BE registered in one of our Musical Theater classes during the semester. Rehearsals will take place on Thursdays from 6:30pm-8:30pm and/or Saturdays from 9am-11:30am. Participants will not be needed every week for rehearsal and conflicts will be accepted prior to rehearsals beginning so that we can accommodate as best as possible.
On Camera
Learn TV/Film acting technique! Instructors generously work with you, giving you feedback and adjustments to your on-camera performance. Students walk away with an understanding of framing, proper eyeline, hitting marks, creating the space and the many different types of on-camera mediums (feature film, episodic, sitcom, and different types of commercial tones). Build or further develop a strong foundation for truthful, spontaneous, moment-to-moment acting. Class consists of a combination of Sanford Meisner and Konstantin Stanislavski exercises and focuses on your organic performance, exploring emotional triggers and learning how to be connected emotionally to your character and text. Class culminates in a student demonstration.
Group Vocal
Class focuses on proper vocal technique, learning proper breathing, scales, pitch, basic harmony, and chordal/interval recognition. Students will also focus on song interpretation, learning how to break down a song, find their objective, and emote effectively through a piece. Each student will walk away will a clear understanding as to how to audition properly with ease and confidence. Students will learn new music and cuts, beginning and/or continuing to build their audition song book.

Dance
Perfect for the musical theater performer! Our master classes are taught by guest instructors and focus on various areas of study: flexibility, technique, execution of choreography, specific styles of dance, and terminology. Students are taught how to act through movement, create characters and learn how to work together as an ensemble.
